Slingers & Supervisors – SC Cleared (Contract Roles)

Location: East Coast of Scotland

Duration: Up to 6 months Start Date: Immediate

We’re seeking multiple experienced Slingers and a Supervisor for long-term contract roles supporting high-profile naval engineering projects.

Slingers must hold NVQ Level 2 or higher, City & Guilds, or Apprenticeship qualifications, along with full SC clearance and proven experience in confined marine environments.

Safely sling, lift, and move heavy components within a naval dockyard

Operate in confined spaces under strict safety protocols

Conduct pre-use inspections of lifting equipment

Collaborate with engineers and technicians on shipbuilding and maintenance

Requirements:

NVQ Level 2 or above / City & Guilds / Apprenticeship in relevant discipline

Full SC clearance and Disclosure Scotland

Marine experience (shipbuilding, offshore, or naval dockyard)

Strong knowledge of lifting operations, rigging, and confined space safety
