This position involves final audit, roving audit, and specific area audit responsibilities. You’ll be inspecting electronic and mechanical assemblies, managing returned products, and ensuring compliance with build standards and quality procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
- Inspect PCB assemblies to IPC-A-610 Class 3 standard
- Inspect box-build and mechanical assemblies using customer drawings
- Issue and sign certificates of conformity for finished goods
- Perform goods-inwards inspection of PCBs, metalwork, and plastic parts
- Evaluate returned products and complete RMA reports for customers
- Identify and report significant or recurring defects
- Audit products against build instructions and IPC-A-610 standards
- Log deviations and ensure compliance with defined procedures
- Highlight process gaps or improvement opportunities to supervision
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures
Skills & Experience:
- Understanding of Factory Logix (Aegis)
- IPC-A-610 certification (desirable)
- Strong component knowledge and identification skills
- Ability to interpret customer drawings
- Awareness of ESD practices
- Experience compiling First Article Inspection reports (AS9102)
- Familiarity with QMS systems
- High attention to detail and customer focus
- Strong communication skills and ability to challenge issues constructively
