Move beyond project delivery and become a trusted adviser to global technology brands! You will be solving complex client challenges, shaping research approaches and strategically advising clients. This is a great opportunity to work with major international clients, lead impactful research programmes, and help shape strategic decisions through evidence-led insight.
This role is a 12 month maternity cover contract and therefore you will need to get up to speed quickly on existing projects and client relationships, taking ownership, providing continuity and maintaining momentum throughout the maternity cover period.
Particular expertise in quantitative and brand research is essential, and you will work closely alongside the sales and account management teams to develop client relationships and to help identify opportunities to grow accounts.
What you\'ll be doing:
- Leading complex research programmes from design through to delivery across quant, qual and mixed methodologies
- Acting as a trusted adviser to clients, translating business challenges into research solutions
- Delivering compelling insights and strategic recommendations – ability to challenge clients constructively and ask the right questions
- Building and developing senior client relationships
- Conducting research into brand awareness, perceptions, positioning and performance
- Sharing brand research knowledge and best practice with the wider research team
- Take ownership for resolving issues and manage client expectations
- Supporting proposals, pitches and account growth initiatives
Expertise required:
- Strong agency-side market research experience around Research Manager / Associate Director level – B2B Tech experience is highly advantageous
- Strong all-round methodological experience across quantitative, qualitative and mixed-method research (must have a particular expertise in quant)
- Strong brand research experience
- Excellent client management and consultative skills
- Ability to turn complex business questions into actionable research programmes
- Commercial awareness
- Highly confident presenter and communicator
- A strong interest in the technology sector
