Hugely exciting opportunity for an experienced B2B Marketing Director to take a hands-on role within this scale-up market information group! Covering a specific industry vertical, this market information provider (research services via subscribed intelligence and some consulting) with four international offices is currently enjoying growth, and its ongoing ambitious plans include adding a strategically minded but 'hands-on' Marketing Director to its leadership team.
Taking charge of a small marketing team (with eventual remit to grow it where necessary), you’ll get fully involved in marketing strategy/brand positioning, marketing campaigns, lead generation/CRM, in-house market research/intelligence, industry events etc - the entire remit! You’ll collaborate closely with research & advisory, consulting and commercial teams, and essentially make marketing an integral factor in increased revenues.
Ideally, you’ll be an experienced Marketing Director from the market/business information sector or similar - i.e. familiar with market intelligence offerings via subscriptions etc (it won’t really suit marketers without experience in such set-ups). You’ll be a commercially minded, inspirational people manager/team leader, superlative communicator, totally hands-on, agile in a scale-up environment where initially the biggest budgets might not be available and where the marketing infrastructure needs developing, and always with an eye on revenue generation.
In return, you’ll be joining a dynamic business full of super people (very nice culture) with strong growth plans, and you’ll get equity as part of the package in reward for the expertise you’ll bring. This is the great job for those with the right experience; contact Carl at Resources Group for more details.
