This is an exceptional opportunity to step into a role that goes beyond the ordinary. As an ECCS Specialist Inspector, you\\\’ll play a key part in securing the future safety of the public across major hazard industries – from oil and gas to chemicals, energy and more.

You\\\’ll be at the forefront of inspecting, investigating and influencing standards in Electrical, Control and Cyber Security systems at high–hazard sites across the UK. No two days are the same – one day you might be reviewing safety reports, the next you could be on–site carrying out inspections, or providing expert advice at a national level.

What you\\\’ll need

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Control Engineering
  • Chartered (or charter–eligible) with IET or equivalent professional body
  • Strong technical engineering experience, ideally in major hazards / high–consequence industries
  • Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to varied audiences
  • UK driving licence (reasonable adjustments considered)
