Interim Management AccountantLocation:

Job Type:6 month Fixed Term Contract, 5 days on site per week

The Management Accountant's role:- Play a key role in providing accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis to support decision-making for the Operations leadership team
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes
- Calculate, monitor, and report key site performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide support to management in decision-making by conducting financial analysis
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Monitor and manage cash flow, budgets, and financial performance
- Prepare daily and weekly wastage reports, analysing trends and working closely with the production team to identify root causes and drive improvement initiatives
- Coordinate monthly stock takes, perform stock reconciliations, and investigate variances in collaboration with the operations team.
- Review and improve financial processes, reporting tools, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA)
- Proven experience in management accounting roles
- Strong interpersonal skills to be able to liaise with the non-finance team
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel
- Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience in the FMCG industry
- Previous experience with ERP systems
