The Role

Reporting to the CFO, the UK Financial Controller will take ownership of the day-to-day finance operations while helping shape the company’s financial strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing the finance team, ensuring strong financial controls and processes
  • Managing the month-end and year-end close process
  • Producing accurate and timely financial accounts and financial reports
  • Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and business planning
  • Acting as a key finance partner to senior leadership and operational teams
  • Managing relationships with auditors, banks, and external advisors

Candidate profile

The successful candidate will be a proactive and technically trained finance professional with strong leadership capability.

You will ideally have:

  • ACA Qualified
  • Proven experience in a Financial Controller, Senior Finance Manager, or similar role
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and financial control experience in a large business environment
  • Experience managing and developing finance teams
