Resourcery Group is supporting an organisation based in Liverpool that is going through a major period of change. As part of this, we’re supporting the recruitment of 3 Heads of Finance Transformation, each focused on a key area of the finance function for the duration of 18 months. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help shape and deliver a new finance system implementation, driving improvements across processes, reporting, and controls. This is a key hire — commitment to the full 18-month contract is essential.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the rollout of a new finance system in your area
- Work closely with finance, IT, and external partners to get things delivered
- Map out and improve finance processes and controls
- Take ownership of data migration — cleanse, validate, and ensure accuracy
- Get involved in testing (UAT), fixing issues, and making sure everything works properly
- Build and improve reporting to give better insight to stakeholders
- Support and guide users through the change (training, comms, adoption)
- Keep things moving — track progress, manage risks, and solve problems quickly
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong track record delivering large-scale finance system implementations
- Comfortable working in complex organisations with multiple stakeholders
- Strong understanding of finance processes, controls, and data
- Confident communicator who can influence and challenge when needed
- Hands-on, proactive, and able to deliver in a fast-moving environment
