Management Accountant | Flintshire | £35,000-40,000
A well known business based in Flintshire is recruiting for a part qualified Management Accountant to join a large finance team. A new role has come up for someone to join a strong, established team to support with financial insights and reporting to the wider business.
As Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the preparation of management accounts
- Weekly forecasts and variance analysis
- Reporting on overheads costs such as labour, payroll and other cost centres
- Analysing breakdown of costs to help improve profitability
- Trend analysis, highlighting risks and opportunities
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Managing payroll costs and reporting
- Working closely with other departments to analyse performance and improve reporting requirements
We're looking for someone who is:
- Part qualified/finalist CIMA/ACCA
- Experience in month end management accounts production, ideally looking at costs
- Strong analytical skills with ability to challenge status quo
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen
- Continuous improvement mindset
