Reporting into the Commercial Finance Manager, you will have a broad role with main duties including:
- Partner with sales teams to evaluate customer profitability, deal structures, and pricing strategies to support margin growth.
- Provide financial insight on sales performance, helping identify high- and low-performing products, customers, and channels.
- Support the development of sales forecasts and targets, ensuring they align with financial expectations and business strategy.
- Build financial models to assess the commercial impact of new deals, promotions, and trading terms before proposals are finalised.
- Guide sales teams on discounting thresholds, rebate schemes, and incentive structures that protect profitability.
- Analyse trends in product sales, returns, and volumes to help refine the product mix and commercial focus.
- Work collaboratively on customer bids, tenders, and renewals, ensuring pricing is both competitive and commercially viable.
- Deliver monthly reporting packs and actionable insights to sales leaders, highlighting risks, variances, and growth opportunities.
