Supply Chain Finance Business Partner
Cheshire Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 days WFH
6 Month Fixed Term Contract Potential to Become Permanent
We're looking for a commercially minded Supply Chain Finance Business Partner who can get close to the numbers, challenge the status quo and turn financial data into meaningful commercial insight. This is a high profile, hands on role partnering closely with senior supply chain and operational stakeholders. You'll play a key part in helping the business understand its cost base, improve performance and make better, faster commercial decisions. Initially offered as a 6 month fixed term contract, there is genuine potential for the role to become permanent for the right person.
The Role
- You'll be at the heart of the supply chain operation, providing financial insight, challenge and support across areas including:

- Developing meaningful KPIs to drive efficiency and performance
- Understanding and explaining month-on-month spend variations
- Linking costs to volumes, delivery profiles, stock, inventory and capacity
- Reviewing cost-to-serve, margin, inflation and recovery
- Supporting and challenging capital and commercial proposals
- Improving existing reporting, controls and finance processes
- Acting as a trusted finance partner to senior operational stakeholders
This isn't a role for someone who simply reports the numbers. You'll be expected to interrogate them, explain what's driving them and influence what happens next.
What We're Looking For
- You'll be a professionally qualified accountant - CIMA/ACCA/ACA with strong commercial and analytical skills and the confidence to work closely with senior operational teams.
- You'll also bring:
- Advanced Excel and strong IT skills
- Excellent analytical capability with the ability to quickly identify and communicate the key message
- A proactive, autonomous approach
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills
- The confidence to constructively challenge operational decisions
- A genuine business partnering mindset
- A track record of improving processes and ways of working
Why Apply
