Development, Maintenance & Repairs Accountant
Are you an ambitious finance professional looking to make a real difference in your community? I am working with a well-established housing association based in Lancashire, which is seeking a motivated Development, Maintenance & Repairs Accountant to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping financial insight and supporting colleagues across the organisation.
About the role:You will provide high-quality financial support across development, maintenance, and repairs functions, ensuring strong financial management and helping budget holders make informed decisions. This role is ideal for a part-qualified ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) candidate or a fully qualified accountant looking for a flexible, rewarding position.
Key responsibilities include:-
Preparing and producing monthly management accounts for development, maintenance, and repairs activities

Supporting budget holders with accurate financial information, advice, and insight

Producing variance analysis and performance reports

Assisting in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts

Ensuring accurate accounting of development projects, maintenance expenditure, and capital spend

Providing financial analysis to support strategic decision-making

Working closely with colleagues across Finance, Development, Assets, and Operations to deliver excellent service

Part-qualified or qualified ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent

Strong management accounting and reporting experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively with non-finance colleagues

Proactive, organised, and able to work independently

Salary: Β£46,000
