Location: Lancashire (3 days on-site, flexible hybrid working)
Salary: £26,000 – £31,000 (dependent on experience)

What you’ll be doing:Working closely with our Management Accountant, you’ll play a key part in supporting the month-end process and wider finance function. Typical responsibilities will include:

Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts

Posting journals, accruals, and prepayments

Reconciling control accounts and bank accounts

Assisting with budget monitoring and variance analysis

Supporting the production of financial reports for managers and stakeholders

Maintaining accurate financial records in line with audit and compliance requirements

Providing day-to-day support across the finance team as required

A degree in Accounting & Finance or part-qualified AAT with ambitions to continue studies

Strong numeracy skills with attention to detail

A proactive approach and willingness to learn

Good IT skills, particularly Excel and finance systems
