An opportunity to join a growing business based in Deeside that are looking for a Financial Controller to oversee the day to day accounting for the site. Working closely with the Finance Director, you will have a broad range of duties and this role is ideally suited to an experienced, Qualified Accountant who can demonstrate experience in leading a team and driving excellence.
Main duties:
- Staff management of 4, responsible for all control accounts
- Production of site management accounts & cash flow forecasts
- Produce weekly variance reports with an emphasis on labour & materials
- P&L management, reporting to the Finance Director and Ops Managers
- Act as point of contact for queries internally, provide business partnering to relevant senior leadership
- Ownership of UK balance sheet
- Authorising all payments and escalation point for suppliers
- Strict cash management, updating cash flow forecasts
Candidate profile:
- CIMA/ACA/ACCA Qualified
- Previous staff management
- Strong cash management background
- Previous experience in a costing environment preferred but not essential
- Excellent Excel and system skills (ERP)
