Resourcery Group are pleased to be supporting one of our clients, a large and rapidly growing Multi-Academy Trust in Manchester, in the recruitment of a Central Finance Manager on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. With an exciting acquisition strategy and continued growth, there is the potential for this role to become permanent.
Reporting into the senior finance team, you'll take ownership of the monthly management accounts for a portfolio of schools, delivering accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, balance sheet reconciliations and payroll oversight. You'll work closely with operational stakeholders, providing financial insight to support decision-making, whilst ensuring strong financial controls, compliance and continuous process improvement across the Trust.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience (QBE) finance professional with strong management accounting experience and the ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Previous education sector experience is advantageous but not essential.
