We are partnering with an ambitious and growing SME business seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join the team on an interim basis. This is a hands-on role suited to a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in entrepreneurial businesses and enjoys supporting growth and operational improvement.

The successful Finance Manager will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function while providing valuable insight and support to senior leadership during an exciting period of expansion. This is an interim role whilst they hire and onboard a permanent member to the team. There is a potential for Temp-to-Perm for the right candidate too.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing monthly management accounts, P&L and financial reporting
  • Overseeing cash flow, budgeting and forecasting
  • Supporting business growth initiatives and process improvements
  • Managing transactional finance and ensuring financial controls are maintained
  • Partnering with operational stakeholders across the business
  • Assisting with year-end preparation and liaising with external accountants/auditors
About You
  • Qualified accountant or qualified by experience finance professional - CIMA/ACCA/ACA
  • Previous experience working as a Finance Manager within an SME environment
  • Comfortable operating in a hands-on and fast-moving business
  • Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
  • Available immediately or at short notice
