Wirral | Part Time Accountant | 45,000 – 55,000 FTE
An opportunity to join a successful organisation on a part time basis based on the Wirral. This role is ideally suited to a practice trained Accountant looking to gain more flexibility and work life balance.
Part time hours available and flexible around school hours and/or other commitments, c. 25hrs (negotiable) spread across 4 days.
- Support the preparation of statutory accounts for a varied client portfolio, working alongside experienced Accounts Managers.
- Prepare management accounts and financial information from incomplete records, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist with a range of compliance work including corporate and personal tax, VAT returns, P11Ds and bank reconciliations.
- Build strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact and responding to day to day queries.
- Gain exposure to more complex accounts work while providing support to the audit team during busy periods.
- Contribute to process improvements and help deliver an outstanding service to clients.
Candidate profile;
- ACCA/ACA Qualified
- Ideally practice trained
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfortable working independently
