The Senior Management Accountant will work closely with the Financial Controller, Finance Director and partner with Operations teams to drive financial performance.

We are looking for someone with strong communication skills and the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.

The successful Management Accountant will be joining the business at a crucial time and will have the opportunity to influence decision making from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts
  • Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes
  • Preparation and posting of accruals and prepayments
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and investigation of variances
  • Producing monthly reporting packs and financial analysis
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Variance analysis against budgets and forecasts
  • Monitoring costs, margins and overall business performance
  • Providing insight and financial information to non-finance stakeholders
  • Supporting cash flow forecasting and financial planning
  • Assisting with year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements
  • Ensure financial controls and processes are maintained
  • Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting
  • Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties
