What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading and supporting a skilled workshop team day-to-day.
  • Diagnosing, servicing & repairing construction plant machinery (excavators, loaders, etc.).
  • Providing mentorship & technical guidance to engineers and apprentices.
  • Ensuring workshop efficiency, safety, and top-tier service quality.
  • Using the latest diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical & hydraulic faults.

What You'll Need:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Plant, HGV, Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering (essential).
  • Strong hands-on experience with construction/heavy plant machinery.
  • Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions & electrics.
  • A proactive approach to leadership - whether experienced or ready to step up.
  • Full UK driving licence & own tools.
