What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading and supporting a skilled workshop team day-to-day
  • Diagnosing, servicing & repairing construction plant machinery (excavators, loaders, etc.)
  • Providing mentorship & technical guidance to engineers and apprentices
  • Ensuring workshop efficiency, safety, and top-tier service quality
  • Using the latest diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical & hydraulic faults

What You'll Need:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Plant, HGV, Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering (essential)
  • Strong hands-on experience with construction/heavy plant machinery
  • Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions & electrics
  • A proactive approach to leadership - whether experienced or ready to step up
  • Full UK driving licence & own tools
