The Role
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Retail Management Recruiter to join our growing RPO team, supporting our client World Duty Free.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced recruiter with a strong background in either retail store management or ideally retail management recruitment who enjoys building trusted client relationships, identifying high-quality talent and delivering recruitment solutions in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Working as part of the Resource Bank team, you’ll become an extension of the World Duty Free recruitment function, managing recruitment activity across a range of retail management and leadership vacancies.
You’ll build a strong understanding of the client’s business, culture and recruitment needs, partnering closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to deliver an exceptional candidate and client experience.
- What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing end-to-end recruitment processes for retail management and leadership roles
- Partnering closely with World Duty Free hiring managers and stakeholders to understand recruitment requirements and priorities
- Sourcing and engaging high-quality retail management candidates through a variety of channels
- Proactively identifying and engaging passive talent to build strong candidate pipelines
- Conducting screening interviews and assessing candidates against role requirements and competencies
- Managing candidates through the recruitment process from initial application through to offer stage
- Building talent pools and pipelines for current and future retail management requirements
- Providing market insight around retail talent, availability and attraction strategies
- Regularly visiting World Duty Free client sites and airports across the UK to build strong stakeholder relationships and develop a deeper understanding of the retail environment
- Delivering an outstanding candidate and client experience throughout the recruitment journey
- Managing multiple vacancies and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Supporting recruitment reporting, data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Working collaboratively with the wider Resource Bank and World Duty Free teams to share best practice and deliver recruitment objectives
- What You’ll Need
- Proven recruitment experience within retail, ideally recruiting management or leadership positions
- Strong understanding of the retail recruitment market and the challenges of attracting high-calibre management talent
- Experience recruiting roles such as Store Managers, Assistant/Deputy Managers, Department Managers, Team Leaders or other retail leadership positions
- Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing multiple vacancies and competing client priorities simultaneously
- Confidence sourcing and engaging passive candidates and building long-term talent pipelines
- A proactive, organised and commercially focused approach
- The ability to build strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage recruitment processes effectively from start to finish
- Experience working in an RPO, in-house or agency environment would be advantageous
