What You’ll Be Doing
- Diagnose, service, and repair construction equipment on-site.
- Use advanced diagnostics to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Identify opportunities for additional service work and upgrades.
- Ensure top-level customer satisfaction with clear communication and efficiency.
- Complete reports and timesheets accurately in real-time.
- Manage parts and maintain a clean, organised service van.
- Support and mentor colleagues where needed.
What You Need
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Plant Maintenance, Agricultural, or HGV Mechanics.
- Proven experience in heavy construction equipment repair and maintenance.
- Strong diagnostic skills in diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrics.
- IT literacy for diagnostics and reporting.
- Your own tools, a full UK driving licence, and the right to work in the UK.
Bonus Skills: Welding, fabrication, and advanced troubleshooting in hydraulics/electrics.
