A leading specialist Engineering company who has a great reputation in the industry is seeking to add an experienced Welder to their team. Operating out of a large workshop near Wyke Regis, they look after clients all around the area and are seeking to expand their team by recruiting an additional Welder Fabricator who can offer experience and flexible solutions to their clients' problems.
No two days or jobs will ever be the same and we are looking for applications from Welders who can work on a variety of materials and on various projects, performing a wide array of tasks from small intricate parts to larger modular sections for construction projects.
This company values its staff and offers a starting salary with salary enhancements as you learn/develop within the position, lots of overtime at premium rates, training opportunities and an excellent working environment.
Your starting salary will depend on your level of experience.
Some of your duties will include:
- Working from drawings to make bespoke products for a variety of projects
- Undertaking repairs of products brought back into the company
- Working on a variety of materials including Ali and Mild Steel
- Undertaking refits, modifications and upgrades
- Operating and using various hand and power tools
- Working as part of the team in a busy workshop environment
Desirable Skills / Experience:
- Previous experience of working within a welding capacity
- High standards of welding/fabrication with experience of welding Ali and Mild Steel
- Ability to work from drawings and follow detailed instructions
- The ability to work to deadlines
- Able to undertake overtime as required
- Formal Welding or Fabrication qualifications is an advantage but not essential
- Flexibility to working hours is required
