- Hours: 40.25 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 8:15am – 5pm & Friday 8:15am – 4pm

A well-known, family run distribution company based in Poole are looking for an experienced Stores Person.
This company supply industries such as manufacturing, marine, engineering and aerospace and pride themselves on their personable, tailored approach with high-quality products.
- Within this role you will be undertaking;
- Goods in, checking deliveries for damage or shortages
- Stock storage, rotation and stock checks
- Picking, packing and despatching customer orders
- Loading company vehicles and carrier collections
- Moving stock using pallet trucks, sack trucks and forklifts
- Boxing, labelling and replenishing stock
- Monitoring traceable and limited shelf-life items
- Processing returned goods
- Serving trade counter customers
- Maintaining high standards of warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping
- Forklift battery charging and maintenance
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Supporting with other warehouse duties as required
- The successful candidate will have;
- Previous warehouse experience
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Team player with a reliable and flexible approach
- Physically fit with good attention to detail
- Basic IT skills
- Able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
- Good housekeeping standards
- Responsible, committed and professional attitude
