Job Description Mechanical Fitter \n Job Location: Poole, Dorset \n Job Type: Permanent \n Salary: £28,253 per annum \n Hours: 37.5 hours per week , Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4pm & Friday 7.30am - 1pm \n Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays; Enhanced pension scheme; n Employee Assistance Programme \n An opportunity has arisen for an established engineering company based in Poole. n To meet customer demands they are now looking to add to the engineering team and are recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter. \n The company are undertaking new build and repairs on products for the automotive industry (special purpose vehicles). n As the Mechanical Fitter you will be working as part of a small team in a hands on, varied role with responsibilities including; \n ·Disassembly and stripping down of components \n ·Assembly of components and undertaking repair or replacement of damaged parts \n ·Assisting with inspection and testing \n ·Working to tight tolerances \n ·Working from engineering drawings and worksheets \n We are looking for you to; \n ·Have mechanical engineering, mechanics, mechanical fitting experience \n ·Be inquisitive and a good eye for detail \n ·Possess experience of using a variety of hand tools including socket sets, screwdrivers, torque wrenches etc. \n ·Have any machining experience is advantageous \n We would also be interested in hearing from those who have an interest/hobby in vehicle mechanics, repairing and fixing cars/motorbikes. \n Resource Recruitment is an equal opportunities employer and is committed to a policy of treating all its employees and job applicants equally.
