We are currently recruiting for a Shipping Coordinator on a permanent basis with a highly respected and long-established Aerospace manufacturer. With a proud heritage spanning over 100 years, this organisation has continued to grow year on year and is now globally recognised for the design and manufacture of high-quality aerospace components and parts. As the Shipping Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring all export and shipping activities are carried out efficiently, accurately, and in full compliance with trade regulations and aerospace standards. You will bring a strong understanding of shipping processes, trade compliance, and export documentation.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Processing export shipping documentation, including Letters of Credit and Export Licences
- Arranging shipments through freight forwarders in line with HM Revenue & Customs regulations and customer requirements
- Preparing quality documentation for the release of goods in accordance with CAA, FAA, and EASA regulations
- Maintaining accurate export transaction files, logs, and UK export licence records for audit and compliance purposes
- Liaising with Customer Support and Customer
