Salary: Circa £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 5pm & Friday 8.30am – 4pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor for a leading company who design, manufacture and supply products to both the B2C & B2B market. This well-known company have been established over 35 years and pride themselves on their wide range of high quality and in demand products they have to offer. The company employ circa 650 staff across their brands; within this role you will be looking after a couple of key brands with circa 400 staff. You will need to hold a Full Driving licence as you will be required to travel to other sites.
We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor who has employee relations experience, a natural team player, can work from their own initiative and taking accountability for projects to be delivered across the business.
Key responsibilities within this role will include:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations
- Manage a wide range of employee relations cases, including disputes, disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, retirement, and redundancy
- Lead end‑to‑end recruitment activities — crafting job descriptions, preparing interview questions, coordinating interviews, conducting assessments, and delivering constructive feedback
- Oversee all employee documentation, including contracts, onboarding packs, and formal letters, ensuring full compliance with employment legislation
- Prepare onboarding materials, organise induction schedules, and deliver engaging new‑starter introductions
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to offboarding
- Maintain and update the HRIS with accurate employee data, generating reports when required
- Administer company benefit schemes, ensuring accurate records and effective communication
- Track probation periods, support managers with policy guidance, and issue probation outcome letters
- Advise on sickness and statutory absences, ensuring consistent and fair application of policies
- Monitor holidays and absences, maintaining accurate records
- Support the delivery of HR projects, new procedures, and organisational initiatives aligned with business strategy
- Apply sound HR and commercial judgement to support effective decision‑making
- Provide accurate payroll‑related information to ensure timely processing
The successful applicant will possess:
- HR experience including employee relations experience
- Employment law knowledge
- Excellent communication skills, ability to build rapport and working relationships across the business
- The ability to liaise within the business maintaining confidentiality
- High level of organisational skills including the ability to prioritise workloads
- Full driving licence as travel will be required between sites
