A leading manufacturing company who are growing year on year are currently recruiting for an Estimator on a permanent basis to join their friendly, busy and hardworking team based in Poole. The company has been established for over 50 years and supplies into a variety of industries including automotive, industrial and aerospace.
Responsibilities
- Processing customer enquiries efficiently and professionally
- Interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Producing detailed costings and building these into formal quotations
- Issuing, tracking, and following up quotations to support order conversion
- Liaising with internal departments to confirm requirements and manufacturing capability
- Maintaining accurate quotation records and filing systems
- Contacting customers for feedback on outstanding or unsuccessful quotations
Qualifications
- Technically minded, with the ability to understand drawings, specifications, and components
- Confident using spreadsheets and managing data
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Well organised, reliable, and able to work to deadlines
- Communicate clearly and professionally at all levels
