A specialised commercial vehicle dealer is recruiting for a Parts Advisor based on the Ferndown Industrial Estate.
This well-known, family run company with a great reputation takes pride in supply an excellent service to their customers.
Their customers vehicles are a vital tool to their business or everyday life and the main aim is to keep their vehicle on the road.
They pride themselves on pulling out all the stops to ensure their customers vehicles are back on the road as soon as possible, whether its following a service or a breakdown.
Working in the parts department, you will be responsible for dealing with parts enquires face to face, over the phone and via email. Whether thats organising parts for Vehicle technicians in the workshop or helping a customer at the counter.
Reporting to the Parts Manager, your duties will include;
Providing excellent customer service to trade and the general public
Responding to parts enquiries regarding lead times, pricing and availability
Ordering in parts for customers and vehicle technicians
Booking parts to jobs and issuing parts to the technicians
Managing parts deliveries and putting them away in stores
Assisting with the day to day running of stores
Communicate with service and sales teams, issuing updates on parts needed / lead times
Updating the inhouse system with parts status and progress
Requirements needed for the role:
Previous experience within a parts / workshop controller role OR an interest in the automotive industry
Excellent customer service skills
Enthusiasm and willing to learn in a busy environment
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
