Laser Machine Operator Job Location: Poole, Dorset Job Type: Permanent Hours: we have permanent days or late shifts available • Days: 39 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 4pm or Friday 7.30am – 3pm • Lates: 39 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 3pm – 1.15am Starting rates of pay: • Day shift: Up to £15.00 per hour / £585 per week / £30,420 per annum • Late shift: Up to £15.00 per hour / £585 per week / £30,420 per annum + shift allowance Benefits: 33 days holiday (25 days + Bank Holidays); Company Pension Scheme; Life Assurance; Income Protection; Health Cash Plan; Company Sick Pay; Dental Plan; Share options; Employee Assistance Program; Employee discounts; Overtime paid at Premium rates; Opportunities for further personal development and training An established Manufacturer is looking for 2 Laser Cutting Machine Operators on a permanent basis in Poole (1 on a dayshift & 1 on a late shift). The company are currently in the process of updating their laser cutting machines and in doing so are seeking 2 Operators. Within this role you will be responsible for reading from engineering drawings and laser operating on a daily basis. You will also be assisting other areas of the business including grinding, fabrication support and tack welding. Key duties will include; • Operating laser cutting machines to cut and shape materials according to specifications • Reading from technical drawings • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area • Undertake other duties to support grinding, welding & fabrication support The successful applicant will possess; • Proven experience in operating laser cutting machines • Experience of setting & operating • Ability to work independently or as part of a team • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations For more information, please apply with a full CV and covering letter by email or call the office on (phone number removed).
