Salary: Dependant on experience, £14.00 - £16.00 per hour / £525 - £600 per week
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm & Friday 7.30am - 1pm
We are working with a client in Ferndown who is currently looking to recruit for a Mechanical Inspector to join the team. This manufacturing company undertakes electro mechanical assembly of special purpose machinery and in doing so requires a Mechanical Inspector to undertake the inspection of:
- Parts and materials coming into the company against drawings and purchase orders to make sure they are correct
- Check parts are assembled correctly against drawings
- Check finished built products are scratch free and finished to a high standard
- Undertake basic functional testing, making sure the machines switch on and operate as required
This is a really good, interesting and pivotal role for the company.
The requirements for this position are:
- Experience of undertaking quality control / quality assurance / Quality Inspection
- Excellent eye for detail
- Ability to work and read drawings
- Good communication skills
