Salary: salary dependant on experience.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm & Friday 8.30am - 2.00pm

Do you have previous inspection experience of goods in & machined parts? We are recruiting for a Quality Inspector for a privately owned manufacturing company with over 50 years of success supplying high-quality machined components and ancillaries across diverse industrial sectors. As the Quality Inspector, you will be reporting in to the Quality Manager to ensure that all machined parts & goods in adhere to drawings, standards and customer requirements. This is an excellent company who value their staff and have an outstanding reputation in the market for the products they make, their quality standards and high customer service satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting of first offs & finished products to engineering drawings
  • Inspecting of goods in
  • Create & logging of NCR
  • Producing and filling of inspection reports

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience of mechanical inspection
  • Experience of machined parts
  • Experience of using measuring equipment including verniers, shadow graph, Faro Arm and Trimos
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings

This role would also suit a skilled machinist with some inspection experience who now would like to undertake an inspection role on a full-time basis.
