As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing CNC machinery, plant and production equipment, ensuring assets remain safe, reliable and capable of performing to the required standards.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Carrying out corrective repairs to CNC machines, plant and equipment.
  • Undertaking planned preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Supporting equipment shutdowns and returning machinery to full operational condition.
  • Using appropriate diagnostic and predictive maintenance techniques.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of health and safety during all maintenance activities.
  • Supporting production teams with first-line maintenance training and guidance.
  • Installing, refurbishing and improving plant and equipment.
  • Working with maintenance and production teams to continually improve equipment reliability and performance.
  • What we are looking for;
  • City & Guilds, equivalent qualification or an apprenticeship in a relevant engineering/maintenance discipline.
  • Previous maintenance experience within aerospace, automotive, manufacturing or a similar production environment.
  • A hands-on approach with strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience maintaining production equipment, machinery or CNC assets.

Desirable Experience

  • Mechanical and electrical repair experience on CNC machinery.
  • Experience with Mazak CNC machines would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of machine tools and associated control systems.
  • Experience working with a range of machine tool manufacturers.
