Accounts Assistant
Job Location: Poole, Dorset (near Fleetsbridge)
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £27,800 per annum
Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 5pm & Friday 8.30am – 4pm

We are working with an established & growing company who supply major retail outlets with products and they are looking to recruit for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.
Key responsibilities within this role will include:
- Accounts receivable including cash posting, allocating remittances, requesting payment, sending invoices, requesting debit notes and checking credit notes
- Creating and sending monthly customer statements
- Cash posting and bank reconciliations
- Monitoring shared email inboxes
- Answering telephones and dealing with queries
We are looking for this applicant to possess:
- Previous experience of working within a finance role
- Good use of using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
