- Within this role you will be undertaking;
- Goods in, checking deliveries for damage or shortages
- Stock storage, rotation and stock checks
- Picking, packing and despatching customer orders
- Loading company vehicles and carrier collections
- Moving stock using pallet trucks, sack trucks and forklifts
- Boxing, labelling and replenishing stock
- Monitoring traceable and limited shelf-life items
- Processing returned goods
- Serving trade counter customers
- Maintaining high standards of warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping
- Forklift battery charging and maintenance
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Supporting with other warehouse duties as required
- The successful candidate will have;
- Previous warehouse experience
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Team player with a reliable and flexible approach
- Physically fit with good attention to detail
- Basic IT skills
- Able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
- Good housekeeping standards
- Responsible, committed and professional attitude
