We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading national charity, who are looking for a
Systems & Platforms Manager to take ownership of their Salesforce platform and wider portfolio of business-critical digital systems.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation delivering a major national programme, where technology plays a central role in improving services and supporting positive social change.
You'll act as the bridge between internal stakeholders, technology suppliers and technical teams, ensuring platforms are reliable, integrated and continually evolving to meet business needs.
This role can be home-based or hybrid , with occasional travel required.
The Role
As Systems & Platforms Manager, you will own a portfolio of Saa S platforms, including Salesforce, ensuring they are effectively managed, integrated and aligned with organisational objectives.
You'll lead system implementations, upgrades and integrations, manage supplier relationships, and oversee technology projects from inception through to delivery.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys combining platform ownership, stakeholder management and project delivery without needing to be hands-on with software development.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage Salesforce and a portfolio of business-critical Saa S platforms.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal users, suppliers and technology partners.
- Manage user access, licences, platform configuration and day-to-day administration.
- Lead new platform implementations, upgrades and system migrations.
- Oversee integrations between systems, understanding data flows and resolving issues with suppliers and technical teams.
- Manage supplier relationships, contracts and service performance.
- Deliver technology and platform projects from planning through to successful implementation.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, ensuring platforms continue to meet evolving business needs.
- Monitor project delivery, risks, budgets and timelines, providing regular progress updates to senior stakeholders.
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience owning or administering Salesforce and other Saa S platforms.
- Strong project management experience, delivering end-to-end technology or systems projects.
- Experience managing third-party suppliers and technology vendors.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Good understanding of system integrations and APIs from a functional perspective.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Desirable Experience
- Experience with integration tools such as Zapier, Make. com or similar.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles.
- Experience with platforms such as Survey Monkey, Zoom, Hire Serve, Fathom or similar Saa S applications.
- Experience working within the charity, public sector or not-for-profit environment.
