Title: Salesforce Pre-Sales Consultant / Architect
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading Salesforce consultancy, who are looking for an experienced Salesforce Pre-Sales Consultant / Architect to join their growing Commercial team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a consultative Salesforce expert who enjoys shaping solutions, engaging senior stakeholders, and demonstrating the business value of Salesforce rather than simply showcasing product features.
Working alongside the Sales team, you will play a key role in winning enterprise-level opportunities by understanding customer challenges, designing high-level solution architectures, and building compelling value propositions that resonate with executive audiences.
This role offers a competitive base salary plus an attractive commission structure of 10–15%.
The Role
As a Salesforce Pre-Sales Consultant / Architect, you will work closely with Sales and prospective customers throughout the pre-sales lifecycle, helping organisations understand how Salesforce can transform their business.
Rather than focusing on technical delivery, you will be responsible for creating solution designs, supporting bids and proposals, and acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales teams to develop winning enterprise Salesforce opportunities.
- Build compelling business value propositions tailored to customer challenges.
- Design high-level Salesforce solution architectures and conceptual mock-ups.
- Lead customer workshops and executive-level discovery sessions.
- Deliver engaging presentations that inspire confidence and build credibility.
- Support RFPs, bids, and proposal development.
- Work collaboratively with internal commercial and technical teams.
- Understand customer business objectives and recommend strategic Salesforce solutions.
- Represent the organisation as a trusted advisor throughout the pre-sales process.
Skills and Experience Required
- Demonstrable experience in a Salesforce Pre-Sales, Solution Engineering, or Solution Architect role.
- Salesforce Architect certifications are essential.
- Strong consulting background or previous experience working for Salesforce.
- Proven experience supporting enterprise-level sales opportunities.
- Experience producing solution designs and architectural mock-ups.
- Strong bid, proposal, and RFP experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to confidently lead discussions with senior business and technical stakeholders.
- A consultative, relationship-led approach rather than a hard sales style.
- Experience within Media & Communications is desirable, although candidates from other industries will also be considered.
- What's on Offer
- Competitive base salary plus 10–15% commission.
- Opportunity to work on large, enterprise Salesforce transformation programmes.
- Highly visible role within a growing Commercial team.
- Work alongside experienced Salesforce Sales and Pre-Sales professionals.
- Career progression within an established Salesforce consultancy.
- Visa sponsorship can be considered for exceptional candidates.
