The Electrical Projects Manager will join an established Group of Companies with a strong Electrical Division and assist with their sales growth by identifying and prioritising new opportunities whilst maintaining existing key customers.
The role will involve a variety of work within both the commercial and industrial sectors for a range of customers. You should be able to demonstrate management of external and internal teams including planning, programming, and estimating skills.
This is a demanding role; therefore, the successful candidate will need to be bright, energetic, hardworking, self-motivated, dedicated, and able to take the initiative and work autonomously.
Key responsibilities would include:
- Develop strong relationships with key customers.
- Manage multiple projects in a timely and efficient manner.
- Take the initial enquiry from the customer, producing a quotation for the project, liaising with other team members and departments within our group.
- Produce risk assessments/method statements and manage H&S on projects.
- Allocate the workload accordingly, meeting customer deadlines and maintaining standards, and quality of workmanship at all times.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will need to have formal electrical qualifications, possess financial awareness and budget management, deliver strong customer service as well as demonstrating good delegation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
