The Opportunity My client is a hugely successful Engineering group delivering a range of projects and services across the retail and commercial sectors. Due to continued and increasing workload, they are seeking an experienced Electrical & Mechanical Estimator to support the teams Key Responsibilities Preparing accurate mechanical and electrical cost estimates Managing estimating activities Pricing variations and supporting commercial negotiations Working collaboratively with design and delivery teams Experience & Technical Knowledge Required Proven Experience In: Building services / M&E contracting environment Variation pricing Strong Technical Understanding Of: Mechanical: Heating and chilled water systems Ventilation systems and ductwork Sanitaryware and drainage Valves, isolation, brackets, and fixings Electrical: Electrical distribution boards Containment strategies Cabling Lighting and controls Small power Earthing and bonding Qualifications Degree in Engineering or NVQ equivalent HNC/HND in Building Services Engineering Minimum 2 years’ practical experience in an M&E estimating role What’s on Offer Long-term career development and opportunities Increased earning potential Exposure to a varied and consistent pipeline A fast paced and supportive working environment
