Our client is expanding and we are looking for a reliable and proactive Paint Plant General Operator to join our growing team in Chilton.
About the Role:
- Select and prepare paint stock for each job
- Jig and mask components according to specifications or drawing details
- Work from job sheets or basic engineering drawings (desirable but not essential)
- Pack finished parts to the required standard
- Maintain cleanliness and general housekeeping within the work area
- Work independently while being part of a small team (approx. 5 people)
About you:
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience on a powder coat or wet paint plant
- Ability to work unsupervised and manage multiple tasks
- Understanding of engineering drawings – desirable
- A strong work ethic, good attention to detail, and a team-focused attitude
