RMS have an exciting NEW opportunity for experienced Panel Beaters to join our prestigious Automotive client in their state of art Workshop.
- Location: Corby
- Position: Panel Beater (Temp to Perm)
- Working Hours: Rotating 6am-2pm /2pm-10pm Monday-Friday
- Salary: £22.00 per hour (Overtime and Unsociable hours at an Increased rate)
Looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment? We’re hiring Panel Beaters responsible for carrying out necessary bodywork damage repairs to ensure vehicles are in pristine condition prior to despatch.
Key Responsibilities:
- To effectively remove any damaged panels / areas of the vehicle in need of repair
- To remove any dents in panels
- Repair minor scratches, or making replacement panels
- Mend rusted parts of vehicle bodywork
- Weld new or repaired panels in to place
- Finishing the repair to ensure it matches the rest of the bodywork, or preparing the surface for a Paint Refinisher
- Keep accurate records of work performed
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
- Follow health and safety guidelines
About you?
- To be successful, you must be over 22 years old, possess a valid driver's license with fewer than 6 penalty points, and have no DR10 offenses for insurance purposes.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in Panel Beating.
- Must have proven welding techniques
