Exciting Opportunity! We have new positions available and we are looking for Inbound & Outbound Vehicle Inspectors.

Location: Killingholme

Contract Type: Temp-to-Perm

Pay Rate: £12.79 per hour, overtime on weekends paid at an increased rate.

Working Hours: 2 Shift rotation: 6am-3pm / 11am-8pm

Are you looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced automotive environment? We are seeking Vehicle Inspectors. This is an outdoor position where you will play a key role in ensuring all vehicles are inspected, logged and parked in the correct area in a safe and secure manner.

Key responsibilities of the Role:

  • Direct arriving vehicles to designated parking areas within the compound, ensuring visitor paperwork is signed and vehicles are logged into the system via tablet.
  • Coordinate with the administration team on all arrivals and departures.
  • Inspect vehicles being loaded and unloaded onto trucks.
  • Assist with Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) as required, including checks on fluid levels, battery, tyre pressure, and safety features (lights, brakes, and wipers).
  • Ensure both the interior and exterior are free from defects or damage, meeting quality standards.
  • Ensure accurate labelling of all vehicles.
  • Communicate with drivers regarding parking instructions within the compound.
  • Move vehicles through designated lanes efficiently and promptly.
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Carry out other duties as required in line with the role’s level and responsibilities.

Who You Are:

  • Must be over the age of 22 and hold a full driving licence with less than 6 penalty points/ No DR10 offences.

  • Good communication skills and a team player.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
