The Opportunity
We are seeking staff to work on projects across the UK, helping local authorities and companies improve waste and recycling practices, including waste separation and recording. Training, equipment, and PPE will be provided. You will join a small, friendly team, traveling from our Bristol depot to various locations, with a travel allowance for work outside Bristol. Each assignment typically lasts five days.
We are particularly interested in applicants with experience driving long wheelbase vans (up to 3.5 tonnes).
Accommodation, subsistence allowance, and protective clothing are provided. The role offers flexibility for those willing to work away from home temporarily. No prior experience is necessary, but reliability, motivation, and a hands-on attitude are essential.
We are a Living Wage Employer. The minimum guaranteed work is 7 hours per day. Pay is £12.00/hour plus holiday pay of £1.45/hour. Additionally, a £28.28 nightly subsistence payment and a £7.50 breakfast allowance are provided. Drivers receive an extra £15 per day when operating company vehicles. Some travel costs are covered.
