Role Purpose
RDM is seeking an ESG & Sustainability Analyst (Data & Reporting) to support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of our ESG and sustainability strategy across global operations. This role sits at the intersection of data, strategy and operational delivery, acting as a central authority for ESG data, reporting and performance insights. The successful candidate will lead the development of scalable ESG reporting through Power BI, ensure data accuracy and audit readiness, and drive improved data ownership and governance across the business. Working cross-functionally e.g. Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, HR, Quality and Engineering, the role will influence stakeholders, support strategic decision-making, and embed sustainability into day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- ESG Strategy & Sustainability
- Support and track ESG strategy, targeted objectives and action plans
- Research industry best practices, customer requirements and emerging sustainability trends
- Identify opportunities to improve environmental, social and governance performance across the business
- Provide insight-led recommendations to leadership teams
- Data, Reporting & Power BI
- Develop and maintain ESG dashboards and KPI reporting in Power BI
- Create automated, scalable reporting solutions
- Ensure ESG data is accurate, traceable and audit-ready
- Establish a single source of truth for ESG reporting
- Analyse trends, risks and opportunities using data insights
- Drive improvements in ESG data governance and reporting accuracy
- Create automated reports and KPI scorecards for leadership teams
- Supplier & Supply Chain Sustainability
- Support supplier ESG data collection, record maintenance and assessments
- Assist with responsible sourcing and environmental compliance programmes
- Support customer requests regarding sustainability, responsible minerals and supply chain transparency
- Governance, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Support EcoVadis and ISO 14001 activities
- Maintain ESG policies, procedures and evidence
- Support audits and compliance processes
- Promote continuous improvement and sustainability awareness across the business
Skills & Experience
- Essential
- Experience in data analysis, sustainability, operations, supply chain, quality, compliance or a similar business function
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong Power BI dashboard development and reporting experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage and interpret data from multiple systems and stakeholders
- Desirable
- Knowledge of ESG or sustainability reporting
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering or supply chain
- Familiarity with EcoVadis, ISO 14001 or similar frameworks
- Experience with ERP systems and business reporting tools
- Knowledge of ESG regulations and sustainability reporting requirements

Remuneration
- Basis Salary of 35-40K per annum based on experience
- Optional healthcare (available after 6 months)
