Are you an experienced commis chef/cook looking for a new opportunity? Are you a great team player? We have a vacancy for an experienced cook to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen by assisting with food preparation and the general upkeep of the kitchen.
Key skills and responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the smooth running of the kitchen preparation areas
- Assisting in food production
- Supporting the production of new menu ideas
- Maintaining the kitchen work areas in accordance with HACCP regulations
- Storing away all crockery, cutlery and glassware and handling them with great care
- Making sure all kitchen equipment, such as food mixers, fridges, and cookers, is in good working order
- Reporting any faulty equipment to the management
- Keeping the storerooms well stocked and organised
