We are currently recruiting for Commis Chefs on a full or part time basis - 40 or 32 hours per week. The ideal candidate would be required to ensure all kitchen operations run smoothly by assisting in the food preparation and general upkeep of the kitchen.
- Assisting with the smooth running of the kitchen preparation areas.
- Assisting in food production.
- Assisting in producing menu ideas.
- Maintain the kitchen work areas in accordance with HACCP regulations.
- Storing away all crockery, cutlery and glassware and handling all with great care.
- Making sure that all kitchen equipment like food mixers, fridges, cookers are in good working order.
- Reporting any faulty equipment to the kitchen manager.
- Keeping the storerooms well stocked and organised at all times.
Skills and Experience required:
- Previous experience working as a Commis Chef.
- Can accurately follow instructions.
- Able to work unsupervised.
