Resorts World is a leisure destination owned by Genting UK Ltd. Genting owns and operates many exciting brands within the centre, including Resorts World Casino, Santai Spa, Genting Hotel, Sky Bar & Restaurant, Vortex Gaming family arcade, The World Bar, The Sports Bar and a thriving meeting and events business. We are currently recruiting for a Commis Chef. The ideal candidate would be required to be fully flexible to work day and night shifts to cover prepping food items, cooking all day menu items for the gaming floor and to ensure all kitchen operations run smoothly by assisting in the food preparation and general up keep of the kitchen.
Key Competencies:
- Assisting with the smooth running of the kitchen preparation areas.
- Assisting in food production.
- Assisting in producing menu ideas.
- Maintain the kitchen work areas in accordance with HACCP regulations.
- Storing away all crockery, cutlery and glassware and handling all with great care
- Making sure that all kitchen equipment like food mixers, fridges, cookers are in good working order.
- Reporting any fault equipment to the kitchen manager.
- Keeping the storerooms well stocked and organised at all times
Skills and Experience required:
- Previous experience working as a Commis Chef
- Can accurately follow instructions
- Meticulous in detail
- Able to work unsupervised
