Are you ready to dive into the latest social gaming offering? Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service? We have a vacancy for a Games Host to join our team at World Bar, Resorts World Birmingham. This 12-month fixed-term contract has both full-time and part-time positions available. You will host small groups (typically 8–10 guests) for casino-themed, non-gambling table games, keeping the energy high and ensuring every visitor enjoys a memorable experience. Full training is provided, so no previous casino or hosting experience is required.

Key skills and responsibilities include:

  • Hosting casino-themed, table-based games in a fun, engaging and professional manner.
  • Explaining game rules clearly (training provided) and guiding gameplay for small groups.
  • Creating a lively, welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all guests.
  • Monitoring guest enjoyment and adapting your hosting style to keep everyone engaged.
  • Using basic technology confidently, such as tablets or scoring systems.
  • Performing simple mental maths during gameplay (support provided).
  • Setting up, operating and packing down game equipment before and after sessions.
  • Representing the brand professionally at all times.
  • Confidently speaking to groups and interacting with a wide range of guests.
  • Staying calm, upbeat and organised during live events.
  • Showing reliability, punctuality and strong customer-service focus.
  • Working flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to support business needs.
  • Bringing experience in hospitality, events, entertainment or customer service (desirable but not essential).
