Based at Resonant Clinical Services in Chorley UK, the warehouse operative will work in a fast-paced environment. In this position you will be responsible for a variety of inbound, outbound and IT related tasks as part of our Distribution & Warehouse Operations. Resonant Clinical Services specialises in the sourcing, supply, service, and end of study support of medical and laboratory equipment for the clinical trial industry.
The team consists of a passionate and committed group of 9, providing a good atmosphere. The warehouse is a clean, organised and highly structured environment. This role will be a full-time position (Mon – Fri, no overtime/night shifts) based out of our Resonant Clinical Services, Chorley site in Buckshaw Village.
What we are looking for:
- Experience: Previous experience in picking & packing, goods in & out, dispatch & returns
- Knowledge: Stock evaluation and inventory management
- IT Skills: Robust system skills including Outlook, Excel and SAP or ERP
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational skills with a natural flair for diligence
- Reliability and dependability
- Proactive and willing to take on a variety of tasks
- FLT Licence: Valid truck licence is a plus (desirable)
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
You will direct movement of shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas. Verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment. You will also examine important incoming shipments, reject damaged items, and record shortages. Plus, examine outgoing shipments to ensure they meet specifications that improve the success of the company.
