This role will contact customers about overdue accounts, participate in the credit limit assessment process, monitor accounts receivable and work with customers on payment plans. The Collections Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external service providers to create efficient processes and a positive customer experience. Expertise in collections, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence change across all levels are essential for success.
How Will You Make An Impact & Requirement
- Collections Management: Contact customers with overdue accounts to resolve questions and obtain payment. Resolve customer issues and complaints regarding billing process.
- Credit Management: Review and set customer credit limits. Work with operations teams to resolve shipping and operational issues affecting customers.
- Cash Management: Assist in cash management and reporting activities, including cash flow forecasting and daily cash reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting or related field.
- Excellent communication skills to have constructive conversations with customers and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- 5+ years of experience in collections.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
